Digital transformation: Schulze Heimtierbedarf launches App for optimized warehouse management
In recent years, Schulze Heimtierbedarf in Porta Westfalica has made a lot of progress in terms of digital transformation. A current example is the introduction of a cloud-based solution for the merchandise management system SAP Business ByDesign. Based on the new system for facilitating and accelerating all logistical processes in the warehouse, Schulze has now also introduced a corresponding scanner app. With the scan4cloud app, every step of the process can be mapped clearly and in the smallest detail – from product procurement to sales. This enables Schulze Heimtierbedarf to meet its own demand for the fastest possible and most satisfactory customer service.
On the occasion of the SAP Cloud Platform Contest 2018, the company's premises became the scene of a SAP film shoot. On May 15, the warehouse team of Schulze Heimtierbedarf was accompanied by the film team Goebel and Mattes from Frankfurt for one day to document the various work processes with scan4cloud. How exactly the app is used in the Schulze Heimtierbedarf warehouse can be seen in the small SAP video spot.
